I have 8 years of experience as a classroom teacher teaching English and Science to Grades 5 and 6. I also served as a Science School Coordinator of our school. Then, I worked overseas for 2 years as an assistant teacher for Special Education Needs where I handled Grades 1 and 2 pupils with diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). These experiences helped developed certain qualities that are essential in the field of teaching. I became attentive to other people, empathetic and patient. I also learned how to be creative in order get the attention of my students for them to learn easily and have fun. I am also an optimistic person so I would like to share that positivity to my students.
