Hi, I'm Paige! For over a decade, I've worked in Philippine national government service in disaster risk reduction and management — specializing in fund management, post-disaster recovery, and policy development for the National DRRM Fund. That work has meant constant research: digging into unfamiliar regulations, technical frameworks, and program areas, then turning that understanding into policy memos, funding guidelines, executive briefers, and reports for both local and international stakeholders (including representing the Philippines in ASEAN disaster-resilience forums in Myanmar, South Korea, and Indonesia).
What I enjoy most about writing is that research process — learning a new topic well enough to explain it clearly, and getting sharper at that with every piece. I'm now bringing that same research-driven approach to broader content writing, and I have a wide range since I'm an avid reader across topics.
I hold a Master's in Disaster Risk and Resilience from Ateneo de Manila University and a Bachelor's in Political Science from the University of the Philippines Manila.
Outside of work, I spend my free time with my husband and our dogs, listening to K-pop, and watching series.
