I’m a finance professional with over 10 years of experience in insurance accounting, with a focus on financial reporting, IFRS 17, and finance systems.
Over the years, I’ve had the chance to work both on the finance side and on system-related projects, which helped me understand how closely connected processes and technology really are. I was part of the team involved in IFRS 17 implementation and have worked on month-end and quarterly closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
I also spent time as a Lead Business Systems Analyst, where I was involved in SAP Procure-to-Pay implementation, from gathering requirements and mapping processes to supporting UAT and post-go-live activities. That experience gave me a better perspective on how systems can improve (or sometimes complicate) finance operations.
Currently, I’m working as a Finance Senior Associate, handling closing activities and working with different teams like actuarial, underwriting, IT, and operations to make sure financial data is accurate and aligned.
I’m particularly interested in roles that sit between finance and systems where I can contribute both accounting knowledge and process improvement ideas.
