I don't treat myself as just a contractor completing a checklist. When I'm in your product and I notice something that could be better — a confusing flow, a missed edge case, a process quietly costing your team time — I say something. I've had clients tell me I saved them from launching something that would have damaged their reputation. That's the part of this work I care about most
With 20+ years in tech including 10+ years as a remote QA specialist and project manager for US and Australian web development agencies — I've tested and shipped eCommerce platforms, SaaS products, CRMs, mobile apps, and custom web applications. I've worked with brands and international e-commerce brands. My platform expertise spans Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Drupal, and Wix
But that's not where my story starts.
I began my tech career in 1996 as the sole IT person at a manufacturing company — no training, no manual, no team. Just me and a business that needed systems to run. I designed and maintained enterprise systems across sales, inventory, accounting, manufacturing, and logistics for 18 years across multiple branches. That experience permanently changed how I see software. I don't just check if a button works. I think about the business logic behind it, the edge cases no one thought to write down, and the real person using it under pressure on a difficult day.
On the project management side, I've grown and led a 16-person distributed QA and delivery team handling 10+ concurrent web development projects. I write tickets developers actually act on, run sprint reviews that move things forward, and translate technical issues into clear language for clients. I know when to escalate, when to absorb, and how to keep a project on track when things get complicated.
I'm based in the Philippines (available US and AU timezones), open to full-time and part-time engagements, and I take long-term partnerships seriously.
