Past year, sole builder on two internal production systems: a document-approval platform (OAuth PKCE, 7-table Postgres schema, 25 row-level-security policies, realtime notifications, coordinate-accurate PDF signature placement) and a multi-tenant reporting platform integrating three third-party APIs with different auth models behind one typed contract.
What I am good at is the part after "it works": a Redis stale-while-revalidate cache iterated four times post-launch (request dedup, stale-snapshot responses under concurrent misses, concurrency-capped prewarm), fail-fast env validation that blocks bad deploys, structured logging, rate limiting, and defensive fallback chains so an upstream API failure degrades data freshness instead of taking down the read path.
I own the release gate on a live team repo (CODEOWNERS, PR-check pipeline, sole authority on staging to main) and I train interns and new hires.
Availability: part-time, 4 hours/day, Monday to Friday. Metro Manila (UTC+8). My working window is 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM PH time, which is 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM US Eastern and 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM US Pacific. Full overlap with US East Coast mornings, including daily standup.
