I am a software quality engineer with over 10 years experience in all levels of testing, including performance, functional, integration, system, and user acceptance. I am very proficient with the agile methodology for software development. I do not limit myself to just manually testing applications. I see to it that I know the backend database as well. Due to my knowledge in SQL, I am also proactive at giving suggestions regarding optimizations.
I have led a small group of QAs in Fintech and Payroll projects. As a lead, I drive the testing process and also a key person to projects assigned to me. I give technical feedback to developers regarding how they can improve performance, besides just reporting issues. I've dealt with production support as well, being able to quickly analyze a scenario and handle investigations with minimal supervision.
As a lead QA engineer in my last 2 companies, I know that I will be able to give significant value to the applications that I'll test. I'd like to think that my range of experience in the testing field, with totally different target markets, has made me a well-rounded QA tester.
