I speak and write in English on a native level, as proven by my IELTS test results, where I achieved an overall band score of 8.5 with minimal preparation. The accent I typically use in verbal communication is Standard American, which is my natural accent, but as I've always been a fan of British film and literature, I am also capable of adjusting it and switching to a British RP (if necessary). Although I do not currently hold a degree, I did finish a year in university (in the BS Foreign Service program at the Lyceum of the Philippines University), and I also have other international certifications, like TESOL and TEYL, for teaching English as a second language. I am a quick study and do not require constant supervision. Some of my biggest assets include my attention to detail and my strong ability to empathize. I am very culturally, politically, and socially aware, and can easily relate to different people. I was also a champion creative writer in high school — a skill I've continued to hone through the years both as a hobby and as a tool in my professional life. I have a rudimentary understanding of a number of foreign languages, namely Spanish, Japanese, and some Korean and French, but I've never studied them formally. I find great joy in learning new ones because I've always had a knack for linguistics. Apart from those, I am also a gifted vocalist with a soprano range and would love nothing more than to get an opportunity to make use of this talent of mine in the future.
