I'm Karen J. Pimentel, a graduate with a degree of Bachelor of Business Technology and Livelihood Education Major in ICT. I had part-time online work experience as a freelancer. I did video editing that focuses on turning long-form interviews or podcasts into short-form videos like reels. I also became a social media evaluator in Appen. My task was to categorize Facebook posts based on their content and ensure they adhered to community guidelines or Facebook policies. The next job I had was Ads quality rating at Welocalize Inc. in which I analyze keywords, ad creative, landing page, etc. to ensure they're relevant, accurate, and safe for users.
Although my work experience is not directly related to this role, I've gained relevant skills such as creativity, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and analytical reasoning. Also, I had experience on making and processing my own invoices in MS Excel and Workday software. My background in business education, and accountancy and business management has equipped me with the problem solving and organizational abilities needed for roles like bookkeeper, administrative assistant, and other business and accounting-related functions.
