Purchasing: Procure resources (raw materials and indirect materials, software, hardware, services, etc.) and ensure on-time delivery. Conduct daily material status checking and vendor follow ups. Ensure critical material is identified and communicated promptly to operations team and provide alternative solutions.
Tools: I am adept at using digital tools including ERP (Microsoft Dynamics NAV), MRP, Procurify, Quickbooks, and other various tools to coordinate, manage, and track procurement activities, ensuring that operations run smoothly regardless of location.
Settlement of Non-conformity: Investigate complaints arising from deliveries (quality & quantity), prices, terms and conditions and assist in resolving such. Conduct root-cause analysis for every supply-related issues and ensure implementation of corrective action.
Importation: Securing freight quotations directly from Forwarders, preparing freight cost comparison, and getting approvals prior to the arrangement of import shipments. Ensure availability and accuracy of shipping
documents prior to arrival. Monitor import shipments with forwarders, brokers, and
other parties involve to ensure on time delivery of goods.
Leadership, Reporting, Continuous Improvement: Organize and review the day to day activities of procurement team, provide instruction and coaching, guiding them in achieving team's targets. Evaluate their performance, provide feedback and determine appropriate actions. Lead in the review of department process and policies, identify areas for and suggest improvement. Process all procurement reports and discuss with the team monthly KPIs and all necessary reports needed by the management.
