I have been with GSSC QBE Philippines for 8 years. I was a claims officer (Travel and Medical) for 5 years before I joined my current position as a Business Support Analyst. As a claims officer my expertise will be on claims assessment, lodgement and settlements of claims. I handle Hong Kong and Singapore policies for this role. Being a claims officer enhanced my attention to details skills and multi tasking skills where I handled BAU and other adhoc task assigned while meeting SLA. I also handle email support for insured / customers complaints regarding the assessment result of their claims and requesting additional documents for their claims.
Currently, I am a Business Support Analyst providing support to our UK counterpart and policy admin team. I provide support in creating and mapping codes for the policy as well as maintaining the correct bank details of the customers in core systems like Oracle / Fusion, Claims Management System (CMS) and Genius. My role also covers requesting documents from brokers and setting up broker details on Master Data Management tool and Salesforce.
Before joining QBE, I was a medical claims officer at Accenture Inc. for 4 years. The role also involves claims assessment and eligibility checking and policy coverage before proceeding in paying the claim.
I am flexible in handling multiple task and can work with minimum supervision given that I am aware of my specific responsibilities for the position. With my experience as as a claims officer I am confident that I can deliver good quality of work assigned to me.
