My most recent job was being a Medical Virtual Assistant. I was responsible for checking patients' eligibility, submitting claims, filing medical appeals, verifying authorization, and doing follow-up with account receivables for 6 clinics for a single client.
I have also worked as a medical biller for a home health agency in Minnesota for more than a year. I am responsible for encoding and submitting claims electronically and mailing them if needed.
I also worked as a customer service representative and was promoted to a compliance agent for
more than 7 years in US-based health insurance for more. My primary role was ensuring processes were
being met in member’s claims and other health insurance-related issues aside
from taking calls when the queue spikes.
