I am Ferry Julie Olaivar, a licensed Civil Engineer in the Philippines. I began my career as an estimator for commercial buildings shortly after graduation. I also gained part-time experience in the design and cost estimation of residential houses.
For the past five years, I have been working as a Monitoring Engineer at a government agency in our province. My responsibilities include overseeing the progress of infrastructure projects across the region and preparing detailed reports on their status. I also lead our agency’s monitoring team in compiling and submitting monthly deliverables to our head office, ensuring all requirements are met on time.
In addition to my monitoring duties, I work as a Cost Engineer, where I am responsible for tracking and managing the financial aspects of regional projects.
I am proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as SketchUp and AutoCAD. I am a quick learner, capable of working with minimal supervision, and I take initiative in all assigned tasks. I am professional, well-mannered, and always eager to learn and grow in my field.
