I’m ----------- C. -----------, a graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Baguio. I passed the Board Licensure Examination for Psychologists and Psychometricians (BLEPP) last August 2024. As a licensed Psychometrician, I’m enthusiastic about finding a role that aligns with my values, interests, and skills, ideally in a remote work setting. I have a great communication skills, has a very flexible personality, can multitask, highly motivated into finishing the assigned task, I believe that I'm a creative person, cares a lot about teamwork while still thriving in individual tasks, and ensures the quality of the work and tries to meet the expectation of the client. I may not have an experience yet in the clinical setting since my previous and current job are more on Industrial Psychology, I believe this opportunity would allow me to apply the knowledge and experiences I've gained throughout my career as an Human Resources Associate since working as an HR meant I have to deal with different attitudes, personalities, and even cultural backgrounds of the employees I handle which gives me the chance to have a continuous development professionally and personally.
I've been in the HR field since March 2025 where I handled over 600+ employees. Working in the office was hard since a lot of factors needs to be considered, such as the transportation, eating outside of the office, and such. This is when I realized that work from home setup would be convenient on my part as I don't get stressed out thinking about the travel time and waking up early in the morning, it also allows me to work at the comfort of my home where I can stay close to my family.
Working as an HR made me realize that even employees need to considere their mental health as employees are usually exposed to stress, especially if they encounter problems at home where it can be inevitable for them not to think about it while they are at work. In addition, during my internship, my first rotation involved working in a clinical setting as a guidance assistant at a public high school in Baguio City, where I conducted intake interviews, took notes, coordinated severe cases with the guidance coordinator, and led homeroom lectures on mental health. My second rotation was with Baguio Water District, where I interned in the Administrative Division. My responsibilities included shadowing my supervisor in administering intelligence tests to job applicants, handling logistics for trainings and seminars, conducting research, organizing files and records, digitizing data, and ensuring document accuracy.
With all of these being said, I believe that with a supportive working environment, I can easily adapt to the needs of the position and that I have the skills, competence, and enthusiasm to serve valuable to my future client.
