I have been as an AR Follow-up / Claims Denial Specialist and Medical Biller in a BPO company set-up for 3 years now, and am very familiar with Revenue Cycle Management Systems such as Artiva, TruBridge, Allscripts, Epic, as well as EHR (Electronic Health Record Software) such as Cerner. I'm also familiar in using payer portals such as Availity, EMR, UHC, State Medicaid, Medicare Payer Portals and a lot more. During my 3 years in US Healthcare Industry, I spearhead pioneer accounts working with US hospitals and Third Party Vendors specializing in payment recovery and overturning complex claim denials.
I also see to it that I comply with policies and procedures as they relate to the job and maintains strictest confidentiality of patient information and adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
In any case you would require me to learn a specific billing or RCM software for this job, I am confident that you wouldn't spend a long time training me. I can assure you that I can easily adapt to any sort of training or program that the job requires me to. I'm a person that requires minimum supervision once I've learned the ropes.
