I start by searching on Google to find stores that are offering deals, sales, promotions, or clearance items. Once I identify a supplier, I visit their website and go directly to the deals or clearance section. I then browse the products one by one to look for potential opportunities.
Next, I open Amazon and copy the product title from the supplier?s website, then paste it into Amazon?s search bar to find the matching listing. If the product does not appear using the title search, I use Google Lens to locate the exact match on Amazon. Once I find the same product, I make sure it meets the client?s criteria, including profitability, ROI, sales rank, and any brand or category restrictions.
+Front Store Stalking
I start by identifying a target category, making sure to focus on a specific product or brand. I use the DS Amazon QuickView extension to locate products with a high number of FBA sellers. Once I find a suitable product, I open it and use it as my starting point.
After opening the product, I activate the SellerAmp extension and go to the Offer Tab. From there, I select sellers with less than 500 reviews and begin analyzing their product listings to find additional sourcing opportunities.
If my client requires a $3.00 profit, I focus on products with a minimum Buy Box price of $20.00. If the required profit is $5.00, I target products with a minimum Buy Box price of $25.00. Once I find a product within a seller?s listing, I click the Amazon logo next to the item to start evaluating it.
I then check whether the product is eligible to sell and confirm that it meets the client?s required criteria. I also review the Keepa data to ensure there are no violations, restrictions, or alert issues that could prevent the product from being sold successfully.
Once the product passes these checks, I search for a supplier on Google using the complete product name, including size or variations when necessary. When I find a supplier offering the exact product at or below the maximum cost, I verify that the item matches the Amazon listing exactly.
I add the product to the cart to confirm available stock levels and check for any applicable coupon or discount codes. After reviewing the supplier?s price and availability, I verify the legitimacy of the supplier by checking their social media presence, Trustpilot reviews, ScamAdviser ratings, and whether they have a physical store.
After all details are verified, I use SellerAmp again to calculate profit and ROI. If the product meets all of the client?s criteria, I then record and encode the product details into the spreadsheet.
+Reverse Sourcing using Keepa Product Finder
Collect the seller IDs of competitor FBA sellers only with 500 reviews or below.
Open the Keepa extension to go to the main website.
Click Product Finder, then start filtering by Sales Rank or Bought per Month, Buy Box, and Amazon Out of Stock.
In the Seller field (blank space), paste the collected seller IDs.
Click Find Products, then begin reverse sourcing each product one by one.
+Wholesale Product Sourcing
I search Google for wholesalers or distributors based on my client?s product category, making sure to include the client?s country in the search (e.g., ?Grocery wholesalers and distributors in the USA?).
From the search results, I select a few available suppliers.
If the website has a storefront, I apply for an account and upload the necessary documents provided by my client to access the actual product prices.
If the website does not list any items, I go to the Contact page and gather the email address, phone number, website link, and website name.
For supplier outreach, I use my client?s email or client?s account. I then compose an email using the contact details I collected from the wholesaler or distributor.
Once the supplier replies, I provide the required documents so they can approve and allow us to open an account.
Once I receive a price list, I manually search the UPC or ASIN on Amazon or use the Keepa Product Viewer to analyze the products.
