Ecommerce businesses generate transactions across multiple systems—Shopify, payment processors, bank accounts, inventory records, and accounting software. When those systems don't reconcile, financial reporting becomes difficult to trust.
My focus is ecommerce bookkeeping, with an emphasis on Shopify and QuickBooks Online workflows that connect sales activity to accurate accounting records.
I work with the transaction flow behind an ecommerce store:
• Shopify sales and sales summaries
• Shopify Payments and payment processor clearing accounts
• Payout and bank reconciliation
• Processing fees and payment gateway deductions
• Discounts, refunds, and sales returns
• Partial refunds before and after payout
• Gift cards and gift card liabilities
• Store credit and related liabilities
• Tips and tips payable
• Shipping income and Shopify shipping-label expenses
• Multiple Shopify payouts and payout timing
• Inventory and COGS tracking
• Chargeback and payment-processor transaction concepts
• Multi-currency and foreign-exchange concepts
• Manual deposits and undeposited-funds workflows
My QuickBooks Online practice includes bank and credit-card reconciliation, Shopify sales tracking, payment processor reconciliation, sales/refund/return recording, inventory and COGS tracking, accounts payable and receivable, and financial data cleanup. These areas are also reflected in my current bookkeeping portfolio work.
My professional background adds practical reconciliation and inventory experience. In accounting claims, I handled 50+ claims documents monthly, coordinated with 10+ suppliers and distributors, maintained records for six major consumer-electronics brands, and reconciled monthly reports covering 100+ transactions.
Earlier inventory experience involved 300+ food ingredients, beverages, and supplies, including physical counts, supplier-delivery verification, usage tracking, spoilage, wastage, and inventory variance review.
Tools include QuickBooks Online, Xero, A2X, Excel, Google Sheets, Google Workspace, and productivity/communication platforms.
The objective is straightforward: keep ecommerce transactions organized, reconcile the money movement, identify discrepancies, and maintain bookkeeping records that business owners can use for decision-making.
