Communication & Support: Acts as a clear liaison between technical and non-technical users by providing straightforward updates on request statuses, application releases, and deployment configurations.
Incident & Application Management: Manages daily business application availability, tracks service requests via ticketing tools, and participates in on-call support and incident response activities.
Technical Troubleshooting & Testing: Thoroughly investigates, isolates, and validates software bugs. Performs proactive monitoring, scenario testing, and regression testing in staging environments before production releases.
Continuous Improvement: Analyzes ticket reports to identify urgent issues, maintains application documentation, and uncovers opportunities for automation to optimize support efficiency.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
Summary of Roles & Responsibilities:
Test Case Creation: Execute various test scenarios to verify that the tool functions according to specifications, ensuring application stability and quality. Create detailed test cases encompassing scripts, expected outcomes, edge cases, risk factors, environmental considerations, and success criteria.
Bug Fix Verification & Regression Testing: Validate resolved issues and perform thorough regression testing in a staging environment prior to production deployment to prevent new issues.
Compatibility Testing: Verify that the application maintains visual and functional consistency across different operating systems, browsers, and screen sizes.
Test Scope Definition: Analyze design and business documents to define the testing scope and pinpoint areas that require extensive testing.
HELPDESK SUPPORT
Key responsibilities and achievements include:
User Support & Troubleshooting: Handling basic user requests (such as password resets and application configurations) and dispatching reference tickets for technicians.
Ticket Analysis & Delegation: Generating and monitoring ticketing reports to analyze business-impacting incidents, and isolating complex issues to delegate them to the appropriate business groups.
Internal Communication: Managing system advisories across various branches and departments to keep users informed of upcoming upgrades or maintenance.
Process Improvement: Contributing initiatives—such as creating Outlook email rules, modifying templates, and structuring request handling—to significantly boost productivity and efficiency.
