I'm a Civil Engineer with almost nine years of hands-on construction experience in the Philippines, plus over a year supporting ProCalc, an Australian residential construction feasibility estimating tool that generates project cost estimates without a full detailed take-off, working remotely on AEST hours from Davao City, Philippines.
At Frey-fil Corporation, I progressed from Office Engineer to Field Engineer to Project Head over eight years, handling cost estimating, structural design, project takeoff, and on-site supervision across building and infrastructure projects, including a hospital, a shopping mall, a church, bridges, and pile driving works.
At ProCalc, I worked first in Relations Manager / Customer Success, managing builder onboarding, tutorial delivery, and a multi-builder pilot program across Australia, then moved into a Product Developer role, running daily QA testing on the AI-powered plan reading system behind the feasibility tool, reviewing 8-10 new-build plan sets a day and verifying the measurements the cost estimates are built from.
I also work part-time as a freelance tile estimator for Elite Tile Works, producing detailed quantity take-offs for commercial and residential projects, giving me experience on both sides: fast feasibility-level estimating and detailed take-off work.
I'm currently completing CRTFD Certified AI Operator training and enrolling in a Construction Estimating and Bidding specialization to build on my estimating background further.
