Good day!
My name is Judith Ann Benwick, and I go by my second name, Ann. I'm a single mom of four, my youngest are twins and they're 18 years of age.
I raised them on my own, and when they were old enough, I d----------- to venture into opening my own business. I started franchising a popular chain-laundry shop. I oversaw everything: from construction, to opening, as well as day-to-day operations. This also included, hiring, training and disciplining employees, staff schedule, scouting suppliers, purchasing, inventory, machine maintenance, customer service through chat and face-to-face inquiries/concerns, and dealing with customers.
Unfortunately, due uncontrollable, external circumstances, like the pandemic and it's repercussions to the economy, I was forced to shut down my business.
I did not allow that to be the end of it.
With the few resources I had left, I relocated and reopened another laundry shop—but this time I did it under my own name. Having taken what I previously learned, then improving on current methods and rejecting unsustainable practices, I can proudly say I was able to establish a small yet reliable laundry business that boasts of 70 or more loyal customers in a week.
Knowing I have this capability is the drive that pushes me to stand up and persevere. I am driven and I am goal-oriented. My attention to detail is impeccable and I am willing to learn and be great at what I do. I am reliable and I can work independently once I have learned the ropes. I speak and write eloquently and I am certain that I can be a good asset to your company.
I will not bore you and itemize all my work experiences here, all of which are written in my resume. I could only hope for you to review and consider.
Thank you for your time.
Best regards,
Ann Benwick
