Civil Engineer working as a full-time Insurance Restoration Estimator for a US and Canada based adjuster and contractors since February 2023. I prepare roofing, exterior, siding, mitigation and reconstruction estimates in Xactimate and Symbility, reconcile scopes against field documentation (Roofr, CompanyCam, Encircle, Matterport/DocuSketch, photos, moisture logs), and write supplements backed by line-item justification.
Beyond estimating, I handle adjuster correspondence and claim disputes directly — negotiating scope gaps, defending labor hours, equipment days, and O&P with insurance carriers. I also manage client communications, invoicing reconciliation and SOP development.
