I was a University Research Associate (URA) from 2015 to 2023. Part of my training included research work and writing academic papers. As a URA, I also handled administrative duties such as doing and completing financial and technical reports, purchasing of equipment and materials, planning events, logistics, talking to funding agencies, clients and suppliers, etc.
Besides working as a URA, I was a sales and account manager for two businesses in the US. My main duties included registering the company with -----------, looking for possible bid opportunities (-----------., Bonfire, HigherGov, eRSP, etc.), summarizing the potential bids on Google Sheet, contacting possible suppliers and clients, submitting quotes and intent to bid on the different government websites, following up on bids submitted, and doing an analysis on bids submitted by the competitors.
I also have seven years of experience as a Senior Quality Assurance Transcriptionist. I am currently freelancing as one. I transcribe mostly video interviews, podcasts, commercials, and one-person show. The length of the videos and audios I transcribe vary from three minutes to three hours.
I am fluent in English and has an excellent mastery in the use of MS Office programs. I dabbled in website development (using WordPress) for our lab's projects. I'm also confident in my Photoshop skills and has experience making brochures and posters. I also contributed in the written content on the website, posters, and brochures.
I'm a fast learner and can dedicate my time towards finishing my work. I respect deadlines and I always deliver on time. I can also multi-task when needed. I am very reliable and I can assure that what I deliver is up to par with the client's requirements.
