One of the most important skills is strong communication ability, both verbal and written, that enables me to effectively interact with customers and provide helpful solutions to their issues. As a customer service representative I have been patient, empathetic, and able to manage challenging customers without becoming defensive or negative. I am also able to multi-task, working efficiently to address customer concerns while managing multiple cases at once. Finally, I have strong problem-solving skills, allowing me to identify root causes of customer issues and provide creative solutions. For instance, when receiving a call from a customer frustrated with the product that they purchased, there’s a need to actively listen to their concerns, ask clarifying questions and offer a solution such as a refund or replacement product to resolvethe issue to the customer’s satisfaction.
