Hi, I’m Lance, a 28-year-old Tourism Management graduate from Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna, currently based in Cabuyao City, Laguna. I am currently working in hotel and booking management, where I manage and maintain hotel, room, rate, tax, fee, and promotional information through a proprietary booking management system for a Japanese travel booking website. My responsibilities include updating hotel information for international destinations, maintaining contracted rates and pricing, monitoring competitor rates using rate-scraping software, and making profit-margin adjustments based on company standards.
I also upload and maintain promotional campaigns, research potential hotel properties to expand inventory, create hotel, room, and optional service codes, and perform regular data verification and quality checks to ensure accurate and consistent information across the booking platform.
Prior to my current role, I worked as a Bookkeeper and Safety Officer, then a Social Media Manager for a local resort. These experiences have helped me develop skills in data management, customer support, inbox management, Microsoft Office, QuickBooks Online, Canva, Meta Business Suite, and advertisement analytics.
I am fluent in English and Tagalog and have basic Japanese language skills, including reading Hiragana and Katakana. I have passed the JLPT N5 and am currently studying for the JLPT N4.
