My first job has given me an in-depth experience as a Data Analyst. I have dealt with data from data ingestion to data cleansing to data entry then data validation. After which I have also experienced interacting with clients by creating and clarifying data queries on the outliers that have been flagged during the validation to close these items out and ensure the quality of the reports and metrics to be published. Lastly, I was also involved in generating relevant reports for the clients as well. But aside from that I also perform market research to as part of another layer of data validation to ensure that the insight from the data being processed is in line with the trends seen in the actual markets. Later on, I moved to overseeing the Index processing which is working on a larger scale by looking at all the contributors of the index and connecting with its respective analysts to ensure that data quality is good which in turn makes the Index publicly published to be -----------w, I analyze data not just on an asset level, but also on sector and index level as well. Outside my regular role, I have also participated in projects using Power Bi. I have also been involved with groups with the same interests for Data Science. This has inspired me to explore more on the tech side career hence my role in my next job.
My next job which is my current job has enhance my skill in programming and business intelligence reporting as I am mainly involved with automation, innovation, and business intelligence. I develop programs using python codes to automate day-to-day processes of the team. I also utilize python codes as well SQL queries as means of efficient data gathering, data wrangling, and data engineering to create a robust data source for data visualizations. With these, I am able to create and maintain dashboards and incorporate Business Intelligence in such reports through the use of Tableau. I also practice VBA programming in efficiently improving several tools used by the team. On the side, I am also involved in innovation projects incorporating Data Science.
