Before becoming a licensed lawyer and up to the present, I work as a Customer Service Manager. I am responsible for resolving complaints and refund requests. This role has helped me become an effective negotiator and problem solver. The complaints are normally resolved through detailed emails and discussions over the phone. The job became easier when I studied law. I learned how to draft emails that make clients want to settle.
Since passing the Philippine Bar in 2022, I have joined more than ten free legal aid activities around Cebu province. I have helped indigent clients with their legal concerns, drafted affidavits and petitions, as well as demand letters for them. I have attended trainings in Intellectual Property Law, Data Privacy Law, and lectures on International Law and International Humanitarian Law. I am keen on learning the different fields of law and enhancing my legal research and legal writing skills.
In law school, I participated in two mooting competitions where I was the main researcher and leader of the group. My team won in both competitions. I am keen on joining an overseas firm as a remote lawyer or remote paralegal.
