He is responsible for project aspects associated with conceptual engineering or detailed engineering designs, preparation of contract documents such as structural and engineering calculations and drawings for tender and construction.Performs structural modeling and run structural analysis and design using Design software such as but not limted to Etabs, SAFE, SAP 2000, Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis, Hilti Profis Anchor, Limcon, Prokon, RAM Structures.Performs structural analysis and design of structures such as concrete, steel, timber, aluminum, facade curtain walls and claddings, foundations, steel connections and other miscellaneous structures using manual calculation and Structural softwares in compliance with the governing codes such as; ACI, AISC, ASCE 07-10, UBC 97, IBC, British Standards, Eurocodes.Prepares Technical calculation reports and develop appropriate system concepts and layouts in compliance with the governing building codes and standards.Performs Value Engineering in the process of comparing different construction materials, used for the same purpose, by cost benefit analysis as basis of management for specification for upgrade or downgrade and how to become more competitive in the market.
