In the bustling city of Taguig, Philippines, I embarked on a professional journey that would shape my expertise in the telecommunications industry. My adventure began at YOFC INTERNATIONAL PHILIPPINES CORPORATION, where I assumed the role of Design Engineer in January 2021.
At YOFC, I was entrusted with the prestigious Globe Project NLZ, a venture that involved converting complex data from KMZ files into more user-friendly KML format. This transformation provided a comprehensive array of details on Network Access Points, including longitude, latitude, cluster ID, cluster polygon, PLA ID, number of lines, and pole tags for NAP attachments. Armed with data analysis skills, I strategized the most suitable locations for Network Access Points, enhancing network efficiency and expanding coverage across the region.
One of my most rewarding contributions during this time was my involvement in the Milo Project. As a specialist in the creation of optimized Optical Distribution Network Designs, I ensured seamless data transmission and carefully planned infrastructure, enabling uninterrupted connectivity for countless users.
But my role didn't stop there. As a leader and supervisor, I oversaw the dedicated subcontractor design team. Their responsibilities included generating low-level designs in AutoCAD, high-level designs using Google Earth, and converting NAP INFO to Excel format for the MiLO Globe Project's successful implementation. Additionally, I provided guidance to a subcontractor survey team, ensuring they accurately collected the data that formed the foundation of our designs.
As the Globe Project reached its zenith, I found myself diving headfirst into another challenging endeavor: the DITO Project NCR. Here, my expertise was essential in preparing High-Level Design (HLD) and Detailed Design Drawing (DDD) documents. Leveraging data analysis and visualization techniques, I efficiently compiled crucial documents such as CEF, DDD, OSP, RTA, and Workload, ensuring a seamless implementation process.
Within the realm of Optical Cable Infrastructure, my role became pivotal in structuring and designing core assignments for Access Backbone, Backbone, Hub sites, Pole sites, and IBS sites. With data-driven decision-making, I selected optimal site implementation methods, considering factors such as Micro trenching, Open trenching, or Horizontal directional drilling, streamlining the installation process.
My journey also led me to HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES PHILIPPINES INCORPORATED. During my tenure as an Optical Network Engineer from September to October 2020, I skillfully managed operations on the STC platform. This involved generating unique IDs, developing solutions, and handling the DUID creation, PO registration, surveying, and implementation endorsement processes.
Prior to these experiences, I honed my skills as an OSP Design Engineer at WUHAN FIBERHOME INTERNATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES PHILIPPINES -----------om January 2019 to May 2020, I demonstrated proficiency in designing Outside Plant facilities, specializing in Fiber in the Loop (FITL) and Fiber to the Base Station (FTTBTS) projects. My meticulous surveys and designs of Cable Entrance Facilities (CEF) played an instrumental role in ensuring the success of various projects.
Beyond my professional experiences, I sought continuous growth by obtaining various certifications and licenses. These include being an Electronics Engineer and Electronics and Communications Technician, both accredited by the PRC in November 2018. Additionally, I embarked on a journey into the world of data analytics, completing an Introduction to Career Skills in Data Analytics course on LinkedIn Learning in March 2018. Furthermore, my passion for programming led me to complete courses in Python, acquiring skills in data structures, through the University of Michigan (Coursera) in May and July 2023, respectively.
My narrative stands as a testament to my unwavering dedication, passion, and expertise in the telecommunications field. Through each chapter of my journey, I have thrived in creating and implementing cutting-edge solutions, ensuring seamless data transmission and connectivity for a rapidly evolving world. As I eagerly await the next chapter of my career, I am armed with experience, knowledge, and an unyielding desire to make a lasting impact in the ever-expanding realm of telecommunications.
