I currently work as a Performance Engineer, where I monitor and analyze the performance of commercial and industrial solar PV systems using tools such as AlsoEnergy, SolarEdge, Locus, and PowerFactors. My role involves performing detailed performance analysis while meeting strict SLAs, identifying trends and anomalies, assessing how weather conditions impact system performance, and preparing clear, data-driven monthly reports covering energy output, inverter availability, MET station data, and overall system availability. I also create in-depth reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and use Salesforce Field Service Lightning to manage site accounts, work orders, and service history.
Previously, I held a similar Performance Engineer role focused on large-scale PV systems, where I ensured accurate reporting and helped maintain optimal system performance. Before transitioning into the solar industry, I spent several years as a Quality Control Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
