I am a occupational therapy bachelor's
degree holder and have worked before in the rehabilitation clinics. I was able
to handle stroke patients, children with learning disabilities and have worked
in the adult psychiatric department. After graduating. For 4 years, I have
worked in the BPO industry handling healthcare insurance accounts in the US.
Focusing more on benefits, eligibility, claims and prior authorization. I am very knowledgeable in Prior Authorization and Pre-certifications, CPT
codes and Diagnosis codes, benefits, eligibility, claims and appeals. I have
worked with big US insurance companies with Emblem health, Anthem Blue cross
and Blue Shield and with Aetna Insurance. I have worked with both members and
providers as well. I am familiar with EMR and other patient information. I am
also HIPAA certified from my previous company with certification. I am
enthusiastic and very dedicated with my passion, both in work and in my daily
life. I am currently in to freediving and have been travelling on my rest days
to the beach and mountains. I certainly believe that anything can be achieved
as long as you put enough effort and you set your mind and heart to it. I am good with managing my time and planning my
scheduled activities for the day. I am computer savvy and fluent in both
written and spoken English, Filipino and in our native dialect Visayan. I am
trainable and flexible with different types of people and culture. Aside from
my nerdy side, I am a traveler and explorer and an active member of a local
flag football league in my city. I am outgoing and high spirited. Currently, I
am into freediving and have been spending my free time by the beach.
