Design and engineering
- Power Systems Design involving Electrical on Solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Hybrid System Design and engineering
- Prepare Electrical Design analysis, technical drawings, procedures, and documents.
- Develop / assess and confirm compliance with specifications, codes, or client requirements by coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
- Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical| engineering projects and studies
- Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.
- Use computer-assisted engineering software to perform engineering tasks (PVsyst, ETAP, Sketch-up, AutoCAD, AutoDesk Inventor)
- Participate in "Design Safety Reviews" to establish that design and engineering design.
- Coordinate peer review and sign-off including (but not limited to) - Electrical efficiency and brownfield optimisation modelling, design, and simulation,
- Detailed design of Load Lists, Single Line Diagram, Schematics, Layouts, G.A, BOM, etc.
- Development of detailed drawings, technical specifications, scope of works, instructions, and other documents to Australian standards AZ/NZS.
- Substation design (Protection Design, AC/DC Switchgears, Switch-yard, or Substation Building and Auxiliaries, Battery/Battery Charger, UPS).
- Technical study of ETAP (GPS Study, Protection Coordinator, Load Flow, Short Circuit, Harmonic & Flicker, Motor Starting, Transient Stability, Arc Flash, Lightning Protection and Insulation Coordination)
- Project Proposal, Estimation, and Coordination Scope of work and project framing.
- Materials/equipment specifications and cost database in Xero Estimates.
- Procurement planning, coordination, and expediting
- Xero Projects utilisation,record keeping, costs and progress monitoring and reporting
