Ensures collaboration for implementation of corrective action plan for balance sheet reconciliation;
? Ensures fixed assets are accounted and proper charged;
? Monitors and ensures that all items requiring accruals at period-end are recorded appropriately on per site level such as freight, casual labor, utilities, gas & oil, rentals, and other accounts directly affected by operations
? Prepares Journal Vouchers for accruals and other adjustments, as necessary
? Ensures all accounting entries and authorizations are in compliance with company accounting policy and GAAP
? Reviews thoroughly to ensure reliability of information and appropriateness of charges to region’s valid cost centers; and
? Coordinates with other functions to validate the figures and understand the circumstances surrounding the particular account
Financial performance and Better Cost Management;
? Receive and process collections from customers giving extra attention to details and ensuring accuracy;
? Perform sales and marketing functions in the area in the absence of area sales officer to attain targeted sales;
? Analysis of branch/terminal customer accounts to avoid delay in ordering process due to blocked orders and prevent past due account;
? Analyze and ensure that all branch/terminal revenue and expenses are posted within the period incurred;
? Manage branch/terminal cement inventories through close coordination with Area Sales Officer and Logistics to attain targeted sales;
? Process outbound freight payables and other branch/terminal miscellaneous expenses based on payment terms;
? Ensure accuracy of the monthly physical count/survey of branch/terminal finished goods; and
? Timely payment branch real property and other taxes
Prepare monthly consolidated ending inventory;
? Compares current month’s Monthly Average Prices (MAP) against last month’s;
? Accounts for abnormalities/fluctuations;
? Accounts for unbooked transactions;
? Requires inventory reconciliation from sites indicating reasons for book and physical count variances; and
? Assists sites and category coordinators in adjusting inventory issues which can no longer be addressed at the site level
