I am Alessandra Sofia Elvambuena, Licensed Clinical Pharmacist. Five years of experience as a Hospital Pharmacist and two years of experience as a Dental Office Virtual Assistant. My skills include customer service, phone calls and administrative skills and very familiar with prescriptions and medical terminology.
As a Hospital Pharmacist, I worked closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals while providing patients with clear prescription information. This experience strengthened my medical information knowledge and patient communication in a way that is easy to understand while maintaining professionalism.
As a Dental Virtual Assistant, my tasks include, a variety of administrative responsibilities such as inbound and outbound calls to insurance, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, making benefit breakdowns, email management, bill payments, treatment coordination and patient support.
I have experience being the team leader of the Virtual Assistants responsible for training newly hired staff and evaluation for their roles demonstrating my leadership skills and multitasking.
