As a financial journalist for the US markets for 13 years now, I cover breaking news stories about mergers and acquisitions, earnings, regulatory actions, investments, geopolitical issues, and other events that affect publicly listed companies in the US.
I also handle broad-market reports on exchange-traded funds and equities as part of my job.
The job of a financial markets reporter is not for the faint of heart because of its challenges. But having done it for many years, it has developed in me resourcefulness, the ability to work with different personalities, humility to accept constructive criticisms, and the endurance to keep on keeping on when times are tough.
Whenever I’m not writing about the latest happenings in the financial markets, I write novels, flash fiction, scripts, email copy, and keyword-optimized web content.
