I am
----------- ----------- J. -----------, and I am a practicing lawyer here in the Philippines. It
is my dream to be a US lawyer in the future, that is why I am interested in
gaining meaningful experience in the US legal setting. I believe that becoming
a legal VA or a Virtual attorney for a US firm would be a good start to my
journey.
I
have over 10 years of work experience in different industries. On top of being
a self-employed lawyer, I also have 2 years experience as a junior intern and
paralegal for a non-profit company that helps indigents with their cases. I
also have 8 years of experience as an insurance specialist for a non-life
insurance company that specializes in motor vehicle insurance, personal injury
insurance, property insurance, and general liability insurance. As an insurance
specialist, I gained thorough experience in sales and customer service which
would surely be useful in the role at hand. My experience as an airframe and
powerplant engineer helped me develop my analytical and problem-solving skills
which would surely be indispensable to the job.
