I started off my career as a Technical Support Representative 13 years ago with Sykes Asia where I performed troubleshooting steps to customers' internet connections. I gained more knowledge from those experiences not just only about helping customers' computers remotely but also helping them ease their emotions during their needs.
It is always my greatest desire to resolve customers' concerns by providing them with options in case the reason for their call is not resolved technically. I also call customers in case there is a need to make a follow-up call and provide a resolution to their concerns. My aim is to win customers' trust by letting them feel that they are being valued.
I also worked as a Customer Service Representative with SALES for eBay Australia.
My tasks mainly involved answering customers’ questions via call, email, and chat. When there were order issues, I would also interact with suppliers and couriers on behalf of the customers. This allowed me to encounter various types of customer personalities which in turn helped me hone my customer service / SALES skills.
My goal in life is always to be ambitious yet practical. If there’s one thing I learned from my BPO experience and from the responsibilities I’ve taken, it’s my ability to handle stress and still look calm despite it.
