Hello! My name is Michelle Jean Albiola and you can call me Mitch. I started my freelancing career last August of 2020. I was hired as a Virtual Assistant functioning as a Human Resource and Project Manager. Prior to exploring remote opportunities, I have worked as a Quality Manager in the BPO industry.
As the company’s HR and Project Manager, I was tasked to track the hours worked by the VAs, finalized their invoices, and processed their pay. I was also tasked to meet with the clients and VAs to identify possible risks and provide process improvement recommendations. I have piloted and implemented process improvement projects across all functions inside the organization.
As part of my HR tasks, I was heavily involved in the end-to-end hiring process. From creating the job description, sourcing, interviewing, profiling, and endorsing VAs to clients. I even experienced organizing remote job fairs to accommodate the number of VA needs by the client.
