Hi! I am Bea Bautista, but you can call me Bey.
My first experience in the customer support field is being a technical support representative for iOS devices for a US telco account. I was in this role for a year, and aside from providing technical support here, I have also helped customers with their international billing.
Afterwards, I have moved to a different company - which has the account of the largest video sharing company's accounts and billing department. In here, my skills in email and chat have been honed. I have familiarized myself with chatting two customers at a time, then following up the interaction with an email.
Six months after, I switched to a company closer to my home, which is for a credit card company in the US. I was assigned in a specific line of business and my duties involve helping customers with their bill, charges and anything else regarding their account. I stayed here for about a year.
Then, when the pandemic began, I have d----------- to stay at home and put up a small online business to support my family, and this went on for around two years. I went back to a corporate job by 2022.
Now, I am a Supervisory Optical Assistant. My main tasks are catering to complaints, answering customer queries in the company's social media accounts such as Facebook, X and Instagram, and handling the Trust Pilot page of the company. I started as an Optical Assistant and was promoted 10 months after, but my time as an Optical Assistant has taught me skills which I believe would be helpful in my pursuit of a new employer. In here, I have become familiar with reading optical prescriptions, calculating lens thicknesses of glasses, advising customers of best deals and discounts that are in favor of the customer, but would still be profitable for the company, and dealing with customers via email and call - both inbound and outbound.
Once hired, I ensure I am committed to my role and that I produce quality work. I am open for constructive feedback, and at the same time, I am an associate that doesn't hesitate to ask, especially when situation calls for it. I can be independent when have been trained properly and have gained experience, but at the same time, I would also like to be in an environment where depending on colleagues or superiors is welcomed. Moreover, below are the tools/softwares/apps that I have experience with:
- Salesforce
- Purecloud
- Metapack
- MentionMe
- Trust Pilot
- Facebook
- Instagram
- X / Twitter
- Teams
- Slack
- Opticampus

I am Bey, and I would love to be your VA.
