As an operations manager in a manufacturing company, I was responsible for overseeing the overall manufacturing process to ensure optimized production. I have supervised and directed the technical personnel responsible for every stage of production to ensure manufacturing of high quality and cost-effective products. But as a Finance Manager in a manufacturing company I was responsible for managing the financial activities of the company.
I oversee the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Managing the company’s financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements and reports. Majority of my responsibility usually revolves in conducting financial analysis to identify areas of improvement and cost reduction.
I have ensured compliance with financial regulations and standards. (GAAP, IFRS, PFRS)
I have implemented action plans to ensure a cost-effective and high-quality financial operation. I was also responsible to communicate and coordinate with other departmental heads to ensure the company’s financial goals are aligned with the overall business objectives. I have ensured all personnel comply with set health and safety policies when carrying out job duties. Furthermore, I have also organized training programs to enhance personnel job skill and knowledge. Finally, I produced reports of financial operations which they present to company management to update them on expended resources.
