I worked for 2 years with a live captioning company, one of the two years as a supervisor, before I got into customer service and even sales. During my time doing captions, I was trained intensively to pay attention to detail in order to deliver accurate captions to our hard-of-hearing clients, more so when I became a supervisor. I had to pay attention as well to the work my teammates did and help them improve their skills. After, I moved to customer service and sales, where I had to absorb new knowledge and further hone my skills to accommodate callers, assist them, and find what best suits their needs.
