Since 2008 my career has revolved in Sales and Relationship Management in the banking and insurance industries. With the sales and customer service training I gained from previous work experiences, I was able to go outside of my comfort zone and hone my confidence by daily sales calls. I was determined to look for clients beyond my family and friend circles. Through hard work I was able to achieve my goals and receive awards in the local bank I worked for.
My career was successful and my boss was paving my path to an ever brighter future in the local bank I was working for. However, I found love and married a successful insurance financial advisor. He was also being groomed to be a unit manager and he needed to form a team. I was of course one of the obvious candidates. After thorough calculation of our income we knew my current job as a relationship manager was meager compared to the limitless commission we can earn if my husband and I teamed up. It was a difficult decision for me to leave my salaried career as a banker and start a new career as an agent with no fixed income. But God made things easier for me to manage when I became pregnant. I had a difficult pregnancy which resulted to me being put on bed rest. I surrendered and gave up my career knowing it is God in the midst of our predicament and He was obviously making the path clearer for me to take.
I am now a full time mother to 2 kids aged 5 and 4 and a financial advisor. Since being a financial advisor 6 years ago, I have been a consistent Million Dollar Table (MDRT) awardee. This is a worldwide award recognized globally in the Life Insurance industry. For the Philippines being member of the MDRT means you achieved at least P1M commission from first year insurance premiums. There are many insurance advisors but not all achieve this amount of commission or the MDRT award.
This year however, my husband is seriously considering stepping down as a Unit Manager and he wants to focus on just selling without having to lead of manage a team. This would mean the overrides he will receive from my commission will be removed as he steps down. Because of this I am looking for other ways to augment the "loss" from his overrides.
I am looking for work that is non voice that I can include in my schedule. As a financial advisor I manage my own schedule and I source my clients on my own at my own pace. While I wait for my kids in school I can squeeze in a virtual assistant task. I desire to make use of my free time while waiting for my kids class to finish and at the same time earn while being productive.
I am resilient as I have been trained by multiple rejections in sales. I am highly trainable because of constant product and technology updates. I am determined and built to make every opportunity count and I am fiercely efficient in managing my time making sure no time is wasted and every idle hour is productive.
If you are looking for someone who is fluent in english, confident but highly trainable, highly educated by willing and humble to start new endeavors I may be the candidate you are looking for. Let me lighten some of your admin work.
