In one of my recent roles, I joined as a Systems Builder and spent my first few weeks observing the team and asking the right questions to understand how work was really being done. I turned that undocumented knowledge into a centralized Operating Atlas containing SOPs, workflows, process maps, RACI matrices, and training resources. Within two months, I was promoted to Operations Manager.
In my current role, I manage the backend of a US-based newsletter business. After observing the existing workflow, I improved the SOPs, automated recurring processes, and created a centralized system that allows the founder to focus primarily on drafting the newsletter. I handle the surrounding operations, including sponsor coordination, content requirements, approvals, scheduling, invoicing, payment tracking, publishing, performance reporting, and social media management.
