I'm a civil engineer with hands-on site experience in earthworks, haul roads, and day-to-day construction operations experience I now bring into remote estimating and document control work for construction firms in Australia and the UK.
Unlike VAs coming from a purely admin background, I understand how a project actually gets built. That means I can read drawings and specs the way a site engineer does, catch inconsistencies early, and produce quantity takeoffs and reports that make sense to project managers and estimators, not just numbers pulled off a page.
What I can do for you:
- Quantity takeoffs and Bills of Quantities using NRM2, CESMM4, and AIQS measurement standards
- Bluebeam Revu markup, measurement, and PDF workflows
- Document control: drawing registers, transmittals, RFIs, version control, and filing systems that keep a project traceable
- Excel-based tracking tools and templates for cost control and reporting
- Clear, professional communication with AU/UK clients across time zones
Why work with me:
I've worked through real construction challenges on-site (not just in a classroom), so I bring practical judgment to every takeoff or document I handle. I'-----------thodical, deadline-driven, and comfortable working independently once given a scope or system to follow.
Currently building out my estimating portfolio with sample takeoffs and priced BOQs, and continuing to sharpen my Bluebeam Revu skills through structured practice.
