I've been working in the government sector for 7 years now as an HR practitioner. My main area of expertise is in Learning and Development (L&D), but I also have experience in Recruitment and Performance Management. My duties mostly consist of drafting different correspondences such as memoranda, letters, proposals, minutes, documentations and reports. Aside from this, I have experience undertaking secretariat duties for various committees and boards. Further, I have years of experience in drafting, enhancing and updating HR policy guidelines of my previous agencies.
As an HR practitioner under L&D, I am adept at coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to plan, organize and facilitate different events such as training, orientation, and team building activities. It is also inherent with my duties to monitor and evaluate the L&D programs we offer to our employees.
Other tasks assigned to me outside of my main responsibilities include processing of authorities for local and foreign travels, acting as the focal person for internship requests, preparing division budget and procurement-related tasks.
Succinctly, I have a lot of experience taking on administrative roles.
