I graduated from the University of San Carlos with a Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting. I gained valuable experience during a three-month internship at an accounting firm in Cebu, where I managed the full accounting cycle - from the unadjusted trial balance to drafting financial statements, updating financial records, and preparing auditor reports.
A few months after I graduated, I worked as a part-time accounting officer in a start-up company. I recorded and maintained business financial transactions such as daily expenses, employee payroll, and sales revenue.
Most recently, I spent eight months as a Junior Finance Associate at a BPO company, where my responsibilities included recording expenses in QuickBooks Online, processing invoices, reconciling monthly fixed assets, and ensuring compliance with government regulations.
