As a recent graduate, I am about to embark on a new and unfamiliar path toward a future, which I hope will unfold like a daisy on concrete alleys or in the heat of a storm.
I hold a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Communication. It was an intense four years of learning and growing my character and skills, yet it was also the highlight of my being as a student. My experiences studying the program exposed me to different opportunities that have shaped my perspective and values. Delving into the media industry provided me with significant insights while participating in diverse roles. I gained a sufficient background in social media management, basic editing and graphic design, creative writing, and my best-loved interest - copy editing.
I love to write. My niche lies in features, poetry, and essays curated from a personal perspective. I once created a Facebook page to showcase my sample works. Eventually, it became a medium for me to nurture my skills and value my passion for writing. I became more engaged and invested in pursuing a relevant career when I took on roles of a copy editor and article writer for a magazine project during my senior year and a student intern for a publishing company during my internship. In a sense, it made me realize my dream. Being a writing enthusiast invokes an indefinite value to me. It allows me to feel.
Now that I'm about to make a life for myself, that dream - and the ones I am fated to find - is the north of all my compass. I might take different trains and get lost, but I'll hold on to every 1% progress I make from taking a step forward. It is life, after all. We live for the journey.
