I have an experience as a virtual assistant closely to a director of a company. I was required to have my laptop since most of my work was conducted online. I took the initiative in maintaining their art websites where I uploaded new consigned artworks from recent exhibitions, updated information on sold, reserved, or returned artworks, managed artwork purchases from buyers, maintained online inventory of the archived artworks in the gallery, created price list sheets using Google Sheets, compose newsletters using Mailchimp, send emails using a Zoho account, and respond from guests or potential clients online.
Additionally, I managed their social media accounts on Instagram and Facebook. I created and edited posters for upcoming exhibitions using Canva or Adobe Photoshop I have also posted content on their accounts such as available artworks, and company schedules, and have crafted engaging captions for each post online.
Another aspect of my role involves working closely with the Director. I assist her by handling phone calls, scheduling meeting appointments, making reservations, and attending to other tasks as needed.
I can do social media management, basic photo editing or graphic design, and general administrative tasks such as handling emails, calendar management, scheduling appointments, and handling clients through calls or in person.
