I am working currently as a School Nurse in the Philippines from 2013 up to present. Being in charge of 26 schools is not an easy task, however, time management is the ultimate key. Before working in school, I got my first clinical experience as a Staff Nurse in one of the Tertiary Hospital in Tacloban. The Divine Word Hospital. Been a staff at the Pedia and Medical Ward and been able to give service and care to various patients with different walks of life.
A year after, I explore the field of Clinical setting again but this time as an Instructor at the University of Cebu-Banilad Campus for 2 years, handling 4th year Nursing Students. My areas of assignment were Operating and Delivery Rooms. As a clinical instructor, I learned to be more cautious and responsible especially I am in control of how the performance of my students will go about and I am in one way or another a big factor in shaping their attitude towards work in the future.
I also experienced being a classroom teacher of Nursing students at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, China ,for a couple of months teaching Transcultural Nursing. Despite the language barrier, I was able to adjust and deliver the competencies they were expected to learn.
Traversing from the field of Nursing to Sales, I worked as a Sales Trainer at Unicity Philippines Inc. and also a Medical Representative at Check Trade Pharma in Cebu. I was able to learn the beauty and hardships of being a sale agent and the art of communicating. Promoting a product doesn't only involve intelligence and technical know-how but it requires passion and trust to the product you are promoting.
