I am ----------- -----------, a 25-year-old graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting Technology from the University of Mindanao, completing my degree in October 2019. Currently residing in Davao City with my husband, I am eager to embark on a new professional journey that aligns with my skills and aspirations, preferably in a remote work setup to streamline my daily commute.
During my four-year tenure with a Davao-based importer and supplier of medical equipment, I served as an Accounting Staff, honing my expertise in various financial functions. Specializing in payroll management, I meticulously computed employee attendance records, facilitated check issuance, monitored daily expenses, and oversaw inventory control. I was in financing most of the time where I paid the suppliers locally, and released travel allowances and requests of their employees, and then afterward, check their liquidation. My role extended to financial liaising with Chinese and Korean international suppliers, and managing documentation via platforms such as WeChat, WhatsApp, and email since I was also tasked to prepare necessary documents that only our supplier could provide.
Proficient in QuickBooks, I adeptly inputted invoices, generated statements of accounts for the suppliers, created purchase orders for our local suppliers, inputted expenses, generated vouchers, encoded in and out of the inventory, journalized entry, and produced financial statements. As one of the senior accounting staff in a small team of ten, I thrived in multitasking environments, efficiently organizing my workload through detailed daily scheduling. My innate ability to adapt, coupled with a self-driven work ethic, enabled me to excel with minimal supervision while upholding integrity in all tasks.
