Hi, I’m Karla — a Human Resource Management graduate from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines who enjoys helping people and teams stay organized, supported, and productive behind the scenes.
I gained hands-on experience as an HR Intern at Megaworld Corporation, one of the leading real estate developers in the Philippines, where I supported various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, training and development, and employee coordination.
I also assisted in end-to-end recruitment processes — from sourcing candidates, conducting initial interviews, coordinating interviews, up to onboarding successful hires. During my internship, I helped handle recruitment for different managerial, supervisory, and rank-and-file positions, which strengthened my communication, organization, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced corporate environment.
In addition, I worked as a Graphic Designer and Video Editor Virtual Assistant, creating visual and promotional content using Canva and CapCut while coordinating with clients through email and Slack. This role enhanced my creativity, attention to detail, adaptability, and discipline when working remotely and meeting deadlines.
I’m currently looking for opportunities in Human Resources, particularly in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, or HR Coordination, where I can apply my HR knowledge and contribute to building strong and effective teams.
