As SQA Manager
I represent and communicate on behalf of the whole QA Team. Responsible for managing SQA resources (51+ Max). Direct report to the Software QA Director. Oversee all teams and projects if all are on track, if there are issues and concerns and making sure the team delivers fast and efficient testing. Handles escalations and gives mitigation. Provides estimation and QA resources on every QA Request. Conducts the final Interview, termination and clearance. Creates and maintain Certifications/Training Plan. Creates and present Weekly/Quarterly QA Report, Resourcing Report, Charging and forecasting Report, Training and certification Report, QA Interns Status Report. Own technical roadmaps and goal setting. Plan and implement process improvements and standardizations. Coach and guides the entire QA team. Conducts performance review / promotion and increase activities. Set KPI and QA Metrics.
As a SQA Lead
I'm responsible for Defining the testing activities for subordinates, Test Planning, Checking if the team has all necessary resources to execute the testing activities, Checking if testing is going hand in hand with the software development in all phases, Preparing the status report of testing activities, Interactions with customers, and Updating the project manager regularly about the progress of testing activities.
And as a SQA Engineer/Analyst
I'm responsible for Reading all the documents and understand what needs to be tested, D----------- how to test based on the information procured, Inform the test lead about what all resources will be required for software testing, Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities, Execute all the test case and report defects, define severity and priority of each defects, and Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects.
